Columnar corner of the Pixa'an Complex, Kohunlich. This is an interesting example of architecture at Kohunlich. The corner of the building platform consists of an inset column. Circular column’s are not common in Classic Maya architecture, but are a feature of the sites of southern Quintana Roo (photo: Stanley Guenter).
